We always recommend having one of our audible, digital voltmeters plugged in at all times. If your alternator isn’t charging your battery properly and the voltage starts dropping below 12 volts, you will hear a steady, audible sound and the voltmeter will display a red low voltage light.
Also a great tool for detecting if you have a battery drain when your vehicle is parked. Simply plug the voltmeter into a powered port and watch the voltage to see if it is dropping.
