TIMING A COG STYLE MAGNETO with impulse coupler
Magneto is set to fire on #1 Cylinder, DO NOT MOVE IT. Rotate Engine so the #1 Cylinder is at Top Dead Center compression, ready to fire. At this point the Magneto will not line up with cogs in the engine, you must back engine up until cogs line up with Magneto. Carefully slide the Magneto into the mounting hole and bolt down tight. ENGINE IS READY TO START.
